Tudey Teten attended the University of Texas and was graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Corrections, making him a bona fide penologist. He now works as a portfolio manager for Austin Trust Company. Tudey enjoys hunting, fishing, needlepoint, and writing. For the past five years he has been a staff writer for the West Austin News. His columns and feature stories have received awards from the Texas Press Association. He is married with three children and resides in Austin.
